Spectralite OPS Facestock

Spectralite is a biaxially orientated polystyrene available in clear, white, and colors. It is available with gloss or matt finishes.  Clear OPS offers excellent clarity, contains no plasticizers and is gas permeable for “breathability”.  OPS offers excellent stiffness in relationship to caliper and prints and die-cuts well.  Spectralite OPS is FDA compliant with CFR 21 part #177.1640 certification for direct food contact.

Envirosafe

Envirosafe is a proprietary OPS engineered with Prodegradent Technology.  It is manufactured using an additive to accelerate the initial degradation and ultimately biodegradation of the polystyrene in common disposal environments. This is 3rd party substantiated per ASTM D6954-04 which includes ASTM D5208-09 & ASTM D5338-11. Soon to be released commercially will be the polystyrene made with 20% post-consumer waste.
